Babies and Bellies Information

I am not currently scheduling Newborn Sessions.

Maternity sessions are typically done between 30-34 weeks.  For the first pregnancy it may take a little longer for your belly to “pop” and so doing the session later in the pregnancy may be ideal.  You want to showing with a nice round belly, but not so big that you are uncomfortable!

I shoot maternity sessions in scenic outdoor locations in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

Maternity sessions are centered around the expectant mother, but I strongly encourage your significant other to participate – my favorite images capture the relationship between the soon to be mommy and daddy.  Older siblings are also able to partake in maternity sessions.

Be prepared for the elements.  Maternity sessions take place outside – even in the snow.  I will reschedule in the event that it rains or is unsafe conditions, but it is common for my mamas to jump in a running car to warm up between shots!  Luckily pregnant women are almost always hot so they don’t usually mind a whole lot!

I recommend form fitting clothing that accentuates your new curves – show off that bump!  I also have some maternity dresses and tutus in my prop stash for my expectant mamas to use.
